Tim Griffiths (Chief Executive of Social Entrepreneurs Ireland and Chair of TAMI Judging Panel 2024)

Tim is the chief executive of Social Entrepreneurs Ireland (SEI) a not-for-profit organisation that supports people with innovative ideas to tackle Ireland’s social problems.

He is a well-known and highly respected media and advertising guru with over 25 years’ experience of working in adland. He was one of the founders of Initiative Media in Dublin and was also the founding managing director of OMD Ireland and its parent company, Omnicom Media Group (OMG).

He served on the board of Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland (IAPI) and on the council of The Advertising Benevolent Society (TABS).

Zoe Harkness-Head of Training, Thinkbox

Zoe started her career working in airtime sales for ITV and subsequently Channel 4. Her passion for the field of broadcast partnerships led her to roles such as Senior Account Director at Drum PHD, Sponsorship Controller for Sky Networks and Planning Director at Sponsorvision. She has worked at Thinkbox for more than ten years, first as Head of Planning and more lately as Head of Training, with primary responsibility for Thinkbox’s new online training programme, TV Masters.

 

Frankie Carty, Media Consultant

Frankie Carty has over 20 years experience in both media agencies and media owners. He is a former director of Core Investment and was Head of Agency Business & Trading until last year with Virgin Media Television. He is currently working with Elevate part of the Musgrave Group in developing their media proposition.

 

 

Stephen Cleary, Brand Manager, The National Lottery

Stephen has been working at the National Lottery for five years, now as Brand Manager. He is part of a TAMI Grand Prix award winning team after their success in the 2021 Awards, and recently led on the Irish market study for the brand on attention to advertising. Previously Stephen has worked in Germany for the global brand marketing team at adidas.

 

Gemma Elmore, Sales Manager: Medialink / 4Sales Ireland

Gemma has a wealth of experience in the media industry having worked in both Ireland and the UK over the last twenty years. She started her career in the Traffic Team at Box TV London and worked in the dynamic Traffic Department in Channel 4 before moving to Ireland in 2012. Since then Gemma has worked with the 4Sales Team at Medialink in Dublin where she currently leads up an agency portfolio team selling the unique Channel 4 portfolio to the Irish market.

 

Jill McGrath, CEO, TAM Ireland

Jill McGrath has been CEO of TAM Ireland since 2012.  Jill has worked across the entire spectrum of the Irish Ad business. Her career has included working in Ad Agencies, the Press, Radio, Online and now the TV Industry. On the client side Jill was Marketing Director in FM104 for many years and set up the first online dating site in Ireland Maybefriends.com. Jill is a Graduate of the Marketing Institute.

 

 

Julian Dobinson, Research Consultant, TAM Ireland

Julian started his career as a media planner at Saatchi and Saatchi and Zenith Media, and then spent a few years in econometrics consultancy OHAL before joining ITV where he was Head of Research. He joined Sky in 2000 just as the migration to digital was taking off and was Research Director at Sky for 18 years, managing Sky’s audience research through a time of great innovation and change. During this time he represented Sky on the Boards of both BARB and TAM Ireland and also developed the first set top box return path data panel of its kind in the world. He joined TAM Ireland as Research Consultant in March 2018.

 

Tara Moran, Head of Sales: Virgin Media Television (VMTV)

Tara Moran is Head of Sales at Virgin Media Television (VMTV). She was previously Head of Client Solutions and Head of Partnerships and Digital Innovation. She joined VMTV from Maximum Media where she spent 5 years as Head of Brand Partnerships. She is a graduate of the UCD Michael Smurfit Business School where she earned a Masters in Marketing Practice and she also has a Bachelor of Commerce International (Spanish) from NUI Galway. She was twice named in in the Business Post Top 30 under 30 in Irish Tech list.

 

Eimear Keane, Head of Marketing TAM Ireland

Eimear has nearly 20 years’ experience in the media industry having started her career in Carat as a TV buyer before moving to radio buying and then client management. Eimear then became an Account Director working with MEC and then Starcom. She then moved to the brand side of the of the business for a number of years before joining TAM Ireland as Marketing Manager in 2017. Eimear was promoted to Head of Marketing in 2021. Eimear is a graduate of DCU where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Studies (Marketing).

 

Teresa Brophy, Senior Manager, Marketing Communications: Bord Bia

Teresa works in Bord Bia where she leads on delivering on B2C and B2B campaigns to build the reputation of the Irish food, drink and horticulture industry in the domestic market and globally. Teresa has over 20 years experience in various marketing roles with a specific focus on marketing and branding strategy, market research and media planning.
